Street's Hope Research Survey

Street's Hope has been working on a comprehensive survey for women who are or who have ever been been involved in the sex trade industry. We now have the survey complete and are at the stage of getting women to participate in the survey. We are hoping to get 100-120 women to participate and share their voices and their experiences with us. We need you to pray.

This research will help organizations who work with these women better understand the complexities of the issues the women bring with them. In addition, sharing the results of the survey with the general population will help dispel the myths that blind the general population from seeing the hearts of the women we serve. Too often it seems as if this population is categorized rather than seen. Seeing their stories through this research will most certainly open the eyes of the general population to the realities of their lives. My hope is that in seeing they will be moved with compassion.

We have run into some difficulty in getting cooperation from some larger organizations in gaining access to the women they serve in order to take the survey. Please pray with me that God will remove any obstacles between this survey and the women whose voices need to be heard. Thank you in advance for faithfully lifting up this project.

Cadence International Armed Forces Ministries

Update/prayer request from Paul Bradley: I am heading into Burma with the Free Burma Rangers for the week to teach leadership classes for relief teams as well as seeker bible studies at night and then will be home only a couple of days then off to Cambodia to put on a medical clinic and Bible classes at a special forces unit. Lots of travel for me running on all cylinders which leaves the family without dad. I am still recovering with back issues and the time in Burma will be very physically demanding (think boot camp). Pray for physical strength for me and protection over my family. Pray for open hearts as I share the gospel with Buddhist resistance forces at the training.
